A conductor will focus on the goal of conducting a concert with concentrated preparation. Managers, however, often lose themselves in micro-management instead of keeping the big goal in view.

 
CONFIDENT LEADERSHIP INSTEAD OF CONTROL

A confident style of leading is the main crux for a conductor, who - in the context of an orchestra - is the only performer who doesn’t play an instrument. What is more, the conductor is the coordinator of all the components of the orchestra and brings these to achieve peak performance.
